Featured Roguelike: DoomRL

DoomRL is a coffeebreak Roguelike based on the world of Doom. It is gore-themed. There are several simplifications; for example, there can only be one item per tile and the inventory size is small. Most combat is ranged, with several types of guns, although there are some melee weapons. The dungeon is relatively small, with 25 floors, and there are many special levels. Travel through the levels is one-way.

DoomRL has several features that are relatively uncommon in Roguelikes: music and sound effects, a simple interface, and special weapons.
