About Ignite

Ignite is a fantasy roguelike game currently in development by Alex Bardanov. The development goal is to make an interesting game with high replay-ability and randomness.

Game

Setting

Ignite is a game built in a dark fantasy genre.

Classes

Now planned 4 main classes. They are named for a 4 horseman of Apocalypse:

  • War - already implemented. Class that focused around self-mutations. From a very begining of the game War knows how to necromutate corpses of fallen enemys to take they powers as temporary buffs or permanent mutations. War is melee fighter.
  • Plague - not implemented yet. Class focused on hexing, debufing and cursing large groups of enemies. This is hybrid (fighter/caster class).
  • Time (yes, i know that this is not an exact name) - not implemented yet, class that utilizes time control and travel. This is rogue-like class.
  • Death - not implemented yet, mage class that manipulates chaos energies.


Version history

  • New engine
  • 1 test level with procedure generation
  • Necrose ability ("d" to use on corpse) - destroy corpse of monster to get it`s unique ability.
