Dressing like a Fighter requires:

  • Iron Helm
  • Tower Shield
  • Plate Mail
  • Iron Shoes

Dress Code Message: "You look like a fighter!."
Losing Dress Code Message: "You look less belligerent."
Benefit: Accelerates your HP regeneration.

How to please Klaskov:

  • Kill.
  • Spells are discouraged, but modest use is not a problem, at least if you leave a trail of corpses.
  • Dress like a fighter.

Belweir

Description

  • Class: Wizard
  • Stat gain: +0/+15

Dress Code
Dressing like a Wizard requires:

  • Floppy Hat
  • Plain Robe
  • 2 Rings
  • Pointed Slippers

Dress Code Message: "You look like a wizard!"
Losing Dress Code Message: "You look less foolish."
Benefit: Accelerates your Mana regeneration.

How to please Belweir:

  • Cast spells.
  • Identify things.
  • Dress like a wizard.
  • Avoid melee combat.

Quizar

Description

  • Class: Rogue
  • Stat gain: +10/+5

Dress Code
Dressing as a Ranger requires:

  • Leather Cap
  • EITHER
    • Bow or Torch
    • OR Rapier & Buckler
  • (Studded) Leather Tunic
  • Hiking Boots

Dress Code Message: "You look like a ranger!"
Losing Dress Code Message: "You look less adventurous."
Benefit: Your arrows never break. You avoid traps.

How to please Quizar:

  • Use ranged attacks.
  • Identify things.
  • Dress like a ranger.
  • Kill sleeping monsters.
  • Find secrets (doors, traps).
  • Don't make a lot of noise (equipment choice).
  • Note: Quizar doesn't mind melee, but doesn't like it to be noisy.

Tlosh

Description

  • Class: Necromancer
  • Stat gain: +5/+10

Dress Code
Dressing as a Necromancer requires:

  • Golden Headgear
  • Wand or Staff in any hand
  • Crystal Plate Mail
  • Golden Ring
  • Golden Necklace

Dress Code Message: "You look like a servant of death!"
Losing Dress Code Message: "You look less deadly."
Benefit: Death magic resistance. "Finger of death" always hits you (?).


How to please Tlosh:

  • Don't use healing, especially spells.
  • Use ranged attacks, not melee.
  • Kill sleeping monsters.
  • Use death magic.

H'ruth

Description

  • Class: Barbarian
  • Stat gain: +20/+0

Dress Code
Dressing as a Barbarian requires:

  • Feathered Helmet
  • Spear or Silver Spear
  • Riding Boots
  • A Nechlace

Dress Code Message: "You look like a barbarian!"
Losing Dress Code Message: "You look like you could read."
Benefit: Can move diagonally.

How to please H'ruth:

  • Don't cast spells!
  • Head straight into battle and smack things around.
  • Throw weapons and use wands sparingly.

Pax

Description

  • Class: Cleric
  • Stat gain: +10/+10

Dress Code
Dressing as a Cleric requires:

  • a spellbook in off hand
  • a chainmail (or mithrilmail)
  • sandals
  • amulet

Dress Code message: "You look like a cleric!"
Losing Dress Code message: "You look less holy."
Benefit: Regeneration (and starvation) for followers.(?)

How to please Pax:

  • Don't attack non-hostile monsters, especially friendly ones.
  • Don't throw potions, and don't break boulders. (? - undocumented, needs confirmation)
  • Don't use death magic.
  • Don't eat when not hungry.
  • Heal.
  • Don't attack sleeping monsters.
  • Destroy the undead.
  • Dress like a cleric.

Description

  • Class: Cultist
  • Stat gain: Based on faction with ><0|\/|.

What is "Xom" asking for?
General Note: When working to make ><0|\/| happy, use the pray function (_) often to see what is pleasing/displeasing him.
