The development of Papaki began in late 2004. Development was stopped late in 2005, but in January 2007, the developer announced the game is being rewritten.

Papaki tries to combine fantasy with mythology from all over the world. Maybe the most important feature is the memory attribute. World is randomly generated all the time, after playing a while your hero may forget a place so it will regenarated again.
