Scrap is ten day roguelike written for 7DRL Contest 2005. Player controls a robot in environment populated by hostile other robots. To get far one must scavenge better parts from other machines to plug into own vehicle. When encountering foe with all systems worse than what player already has it is not necessary to battle it.

Later author decided to upgrade the game. Its version is now called extended ten day roguelike. Improvements include availability of detailed system specifications. Now player can directly compare statistics and quality of parts he or she wishes to scavenge. Thus armor may provide resistance to certain type of weaponry, repair rates of power sources are now visible, propulsion adaptability and speed is shown, weapons attack type is known, damage done by using a system is also listed. Game became more tactical.
