The Chase is a Roguelike game made in 7 days as part of the 2015 seven day roguelike challenge.

The Chase as an experiment to see what would happen, if you applied mario-style autoscrolling to a turn based roguelike game.

Lachlan Kingsford is a software engineer, lawyer and musician from Melbourne, Australia. He has occasional flirtations with game design, which can be found on www.nerdygentleman.com, and less occasional flirtations with music that can be followed on https://www.facebook.com/lebkingsford.

Wade Dyer is a graphic design artist and RPG designer. He is the mastermind behind the soon-to-be-released sci-fi pen and paper RPG "Fragged Empire" - available from http://www.fraggedempire.com/.

Version 1.1 is the first post-7DRL update. In response to player comments, it has been made a bit shorter, and hopefully potentially winable.
