I'm currently working on a new roguelike project under the working title of '''Dungeoneer'''. It will likewise be ncurses-based, implemented in C++ instead of C, and will include more modern RPG elements. It most ambitious planned feature is that the player will control a party of multiple characters, controlling one at a time while the others behave according to a vaguely-tweakable AI. More information will be released as the project progresses; I expect at least a playable alpha "sometime in 2012". ^_^
