* This might not be such a good idea -- because if I will write the third part of the trilogy (Horror in Roguelike Games, Part III : Horror) (and I may someday) how will you name it? --Kisielewicz 14:49, 17 Sep 2006 (CEST)

** "Scaryness in Roguelike games"? ;) You're right, though. It should be left as-is. [[User:M|<b><i>&ndash;MT</i></b>]] 22:18, 17 Sep 2006 (CEST)

Spam

That span is really annoying, that's right...

I think wiki admins are able to block an IP adress. Problem is: I don't know who are the admins on this wiki.

The tavern

I've created the tavern, a place to chat a bit on this wiki. Since you're quite the only other currently active person, I thought I had to let you know. :) — Poulpy 20:03, 27 May 2005 (CEST)

Templates

Uh, this is surely a stupid question, but could you tell me (or redirect me to a manual) how to use and what for are those templates? :-| --Kisielewicz 05:00, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

It definitely isn't. The strange ones that I made can be deleted. There's a trick in a newer version of mediawiki that lets you make certain parameters in a template optional. For example, in the gamesinfo infobox, if someone chooses to, say, not enter the "released" param, the 3 or 4 templates would do weird trickery, and exclude the "released" row altogether (right now it would leave it in and give you some thing like {Template:Released} in place of the missing param). For the other (working) templates that I made, I'll write something up.

Please, mark somehow which ones should be deleted, and I'll delete them. --Kisielewicz 05:21, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Thanks - see category:delete –MT 05:30, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

I should also mention that I enjoyed playing DoomRL. DiabloRL was good also. I did find a bug (in DiabloRL) where an invisible/walk-throughable and immobile version of some of the monsters would come up. –MT 05:20, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Are you able to reproduce it? A couple of people made me recently wonder wether to ressurect DiabloRL and make a fullblown roguelike out of it...--Kisielewicz 05:23, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)
I'll try later today, if I can. It happened when I came to the third or so level, and it would be just about any type of monster. –MT 05:30, 21 Sep 2005 (CEST)

Comment

I have posted a comment at RogueBasin_talk:Community_Portal#Wikipedia_Merge suggesting a change to the locked Community portal page. Cheers, Unforgettableid 03:45, 27 Feb 2006 (CET)

Rename article?

Would you consider renaming/moving "Horror in Roguelike Games, Part 1 : Gore" to "Gore in Roguelike Games"? It would make the article easier to remember and include as a link. I've moved "Horror in Roguelike Games" to "Horror in Roguelike Games", and would like to have horror2 moved to a similarly descriptive title. –MT 11:06, 17 Sep 2006 (CEST)
