Zone is a zombie-themed coffeebreak roguelike coded in Java, utilising ANSI graphics.

The players goal is to survive for as long as possible, attempting to kill off the zombie Queens in the process, which are constantly morphing and reproducing.

There is currently no official documentation available, and in-game help is accessible with the key F1, showing the key layout. Some insight into gameplay may be gleaned from reading the developers blog, which can be found here: [1]

The player is able to wield both melee and ranged weapons.

The player must also manage their stamina, which drains when performing physical actions.

The current version is simply known as "Final" as the developer does not appear to show any interest in taking the project further.
