This is the most roguelike of all--it is a few old rogue C version averaged together and converted into a Java applet. I wrote this in 1997 as part of learning Java. Updated to include saving/restoring games. It may be the rogue you remember from 1979. Well, close, anyway.

A hex-tile based rogue, using ancient monsters. Reworked in 2014 from a decade-old version that was never really completed It has a bunch of new stuff in it, but the monsters are all familiar 'friends'.
