GAH. No updates from ToME for an eternity. Downloaded ToME for the first time yesterday. Suddenly, UPDATE! Nyarg.

Pernband, Tome 2, possibly 3, and certainly 4 are different games.
Pernband and ToME 2 should have their own pages, or this article should have more detail. ToME 2 is still being developed: https://github.com/tome2/tome2/ (discussed at http://te4.org/ ToME 2 forum.)
