-The roguebasin is a [[Wiki]] started by [[Slash]] back in January [[2005]]. It inmediately caught the attention of the roguelike community, which for a long time was in need of a place to record all the empiric knowledge, history and current state of the genre.

-The initial version of RogueBasin was hosted in the swiki.net wiki service; however after about one month of use, the site proved to be very unstable, and the wiki had to move.
-Several alternatives were under study, as the site was already important for the community and it wasn't going to be allowed to die so easily.
-It was with the help of [[DarkGod]] and [[Pav]] that the RogueBasin found a new home and it has been stable until now.
