LinuxRogue is the modern Linux version of Rogue 5.3 Clone P12. Early LinuxRogue maintainers included Steve Wilson and Alan Cox. It was updated for modern Linux versions in 2002-03 by Ashwin N., who maintained the project until 2006, after which Greg Kennedy and Jesse Printz took control of the project. The latest version, v0.3.7, was released in 2007, and the Web page is now defunct.

Later Developments

In 2011, the site Rogue Central @ coredumpcentral.org created patches for LinuxRogue v0.3.7, one fixing a minor bug and another improving the game's Wizard Mode, as well as including and creating additional documentation for the game.

LinuxRogue for DOS

In 2010, an early DJGPP port entitled "LinuxRogue for DOS" was created by core_dump (owner of the then-defunct coredumpcentral.org Rogue site) and posted to the VOGONS forum.

Shortly after core_dump rebuilt coredumpcentral.org in 2011, he re-did the DOS port according to the developments above.
