I feel that we can do more here than just list off some fantasy classes without explaining their general gameplay ramifications. It could also be nice to list some unique classes that could get some dev's ideas rolling (such as the death knight from ADOM). What, are we brainstorming? OK. Could mention the difference between class and race, stats, role etc. Some classes come with a bundle of abilities, like a wizard's spells. Could mention some roguelikes don't have classes per-say, but construct abilities that might synergize. Maybe a link to ye olde wikipaedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Character_class_(Dungeons_%26_Dragons). But we are both newbies, and I'm terrible at prose. You could jump in and edit it up without anyone stopping you. [[User:Spriteless|Spriteless]] ([[User talk:Spriteless|talk]]) 05:49, 28 November 2017 (CET)
I definitely think that we can go a little more in depth with the classes, like say that for example warrior should have details about what makes warriors unique and play differently from other classes, especially within Roguelikes. We could also talk about what makes certain class systems different (like how in DCSS your class determines starting equips and trained skills making it much easier to flip flop between play styles.)
I just think this article has a lack of depth.
