The User Interface (aka UI) is a module which communicates with the player.
ASCII or graphical tiles may be used to represent the game world. You can also use any techniques commonly used in the computer games, or even try and develop your own ones.
It also contains the input style, which determines the means for the player to interact with the entities in the game world.
