Well, having checked it, that database is not currently up to date. If the list can be automatically generated directly from Roguebasin entries and thus kept as up to date as the rest of Roguebasin, that'd be good. An automatically generated list that then becomes static is no improvement over a handmade list. I copied results from projects categories together into one file and sorted that (remember to pass -f parameter). Then made a tiny script adding list bullets and links around each entry. Little hand editing was needed to remove duplicates and templates. Took some time but works. Unless IRLDb is updated reasonably often (something like once every two weeks) it will not do. As for categories I think all games belong here regardless of status. Talkies and vapourware are part of roguelike game community. <b><i>[[User:Ancient|–Michal Bielinski]][[User_talk:Ancient|Talk]]</i></b> 11:12, 23 August 2009 (UTC) |

I'm sure this could do with an overhaul as well. Topics for discussion:
- What categories of roguelike games should be included / excluded?
- Now that the Internet Roguelike Database is updated should we have an automatically generated list like that rather than manual editing?
