H-World is a roguelike engine developed by Hansjörg Malthener.
Description
H-World is a computer role-playing game engine. Here are some of its features:
- Graphical, tile-based, isometric display
- Turn-based gameplay
- Lua scripts supported.
- Single character or parties.
- Artificial intelligence support for both combat and non-combat actions.
H-World includes a game module called "The Jungle", set in a South American jungle.
H-World has been released by Hajo as open-source on source forge https://sourceforge.net/projects/h-world/ ABCGi hopes to do some more work on it one day and his module Beyond H-World!
Versions and platforms
Latest H-World version is 0.3.5, from June 11, 2004. H-World is available for Windows and Linux.
