GearHead Caramel is a futuristic roguelike created by Joseph Hewitt. It is the third main game in the GearHead series, and the first written in Python. The game is being designed as a coffeebreaklike. Instead of a single epic campaign, your character can progress through a series of short to medium length scenarios. Procedurally generated narrative will be used to ensure replayability.

A demo scenario, Winter Mocha, was released on December 24th, 2017. Six months after the Typhon Incident, you are invited to a charity mecha tournament at the newly built Mauna Arena. ?It should only take ten to twenty minutes to play through Winter Mocha, but thanks to the random story and puzzle generation you’ll have a different experience each time. Characters from GearHead 1 can be imported.

The second scenario, "DeadZone Drifter", was released on April 12, 2020.
