Magic Monsters is a 7DRL by Gamer_2k4. You are an adventurer who starts out weak, but gains powers from the monsters you kill. The object of the game right now is to get to level 8. More content will be added as time progresses, but the game is definitely in a playable state right now. You can get it here.
I'd suggest playing as an archer right now. I put rangers on the first level, a forest, because it "feels right", but did some playing after I uploaded the file, and I don't think fighters would stand up to them.
