Tower of Darkness
A 2D graphical (tiled) roguelike that is somewhat unusual. Created, designed and programmed by Tom Proudfoot (of SuperLotsofAddedStuffHack or "Slash", as well as legendary CRPGs such as Nahlakh and Natuk), it is a party-based roguelike with a very detailed combat system allowing for such tactics as aiming at specific hit locations (head, chest, legs etc.) as well as dual wielding weapons and so forth. Features the typical fantasy races (elves, dwarves, halflings, gnomes and humans) and a bunch of classes (warriors, bards, monks, thieves, priests, wizards etc.). Better than most roguelikes ever released but surprisingly unknown to most in the RL community. A complete, playable and finish-able game (can be beaten in a few hours if you really try hard) with varying difficulty levels. There are a few minor bugs and some minor graphical glitches resulting from the artwork not being properly completed (I was one of the artists and the one with the most 'unfinished' tiles) but still a great game people should check out.
