3D Roguelikes lists "Dwarf Fortress"; although they've got screenshots up, they haven't released a 3D version yet, and I don't think the devlog shows a solution for a lot of the problems brought up on this page. Kidinnu 17:59, 22 August 2007 (CEST)

The actual roguelike portion of Dwarf Fortress - the adventure mode - is three-dimensional. The game doesn't yet take full advantage of it, but it is possible to e.g. climb pyramids and knock zombies off the ledges when fighting in undead-infested ruins. Since the soon-to-be-released next version is going to bring fortress mode (which development has mainly focused on) in line with adventure mode in this respect, it will also attemp to tackle the related UI challenges, which may be of interest to other developers considering including this feature in their game.
