ToME refers to both a PernAngband Angband variant and one or two completely new, non-Angband-based games the author named the old game's acronym. ToME refers to the following distinct versions/games.
- Tales of Maj'Eyal (ToME4) (completely recreated, differently)
- ToME3 (experimental engine) (completely recreated, differently)
- Tales of Middle Earth (ToME2) (just renamed)
- Troubles of Middle Earth (ToME1)
