== Rgrd Meeting 2008 ==
The International Roguelike Development Conference IRDC 2008 was the first [[IRDC]].


Initially conceived as a [[rgrd]] meeting, the name IRDC was adopted at this conference.

[3] Atlanta is hosting Dragoncon 2008, a four day gaming convention, from Aug. 29 to Sept. 1st. I plan to promote roguelikes while I'm there. Plus the Stormtrooper parade they have downtown is outta sight.

[7] I would love to go to Atlanta but I cannot afford it, DragonCon sounds cool. I would love to vote for England but nobody else has suggested it. Out of the remaining Germany is the nearest to me and I speak a little of the language(tiny).

[8] Berlin is only 2 hours away from me, my brother, mother and friends of mine are living there - so Berlin ;) I would prefer a weekend in September, as in October university starts again.
