Description
Chaos Caster is an action roguelike in which you cast spells, dash around hordes of enemies, and assemble powerful combos as you explore procedurally generated dungeons.
Each run presents many choices to test your strategic thinking. Which element of spells should you focus on? How are you going to survive the final floor? How much risk are you willing to take?
Main Features
- Spell-based Combat & Frequent Rewards: Equipped with four spells, you explore procedurally generated dungeons, using your magic to kill enemies. Along the way, you receive many rewards, ranging from passive items and consumable items to new spells and skill tree upgrades.
- Various Playstyles: While you can choose your starting spells, you'll discover many new ones as you progress, often requiring you to modify your loadout multiple times before reaching the final floor.
- Skill Trees: Skill trees are one of the key mechanics that drive the game’s strategic depth. Since the game encourages you to pick random skills rather than specific ones, you can never be sure whether you'll end up focusing on fire, water, earth, or air magic.
- Exponential Scaling: You begin the game with limited power, facing only a few enemies, but their numbers grow exponentially as you advance. To survive, you'll need to carefully decide which items to buy, which skills to unlock, and which spells to use.
