Equipment

Equipment means items which can be worn or wielded by the player character directly, such as weapons, armour or light sources. This separates them from inventory, which has a broader meaning also encompassing items used only occasionally, such as potions, scrolls or gems.

Sometimes "equipment" and "inventory" are used interchangeably, in which case the meaning is dependent upon context.
